Shared software for both product lines

One app and one panel for the Shelter and the ChargeGo Box

The Shelter and the Box are different hardware running the same software: an app for the user, a browser-based admin panel, and separate energy metering on every charging point.

User app

Charging starts with a scanned code

Charging works the same way with both products. No action is required from front-desk, security or facilities staff; access is granted once in the panel.

QR code at the charging point

The user scans the code next to the socket, with no station list to search and no charging point number to type in.

Started from the mobile app

The app is the default method. A PIN code entered at the station, or RFID cards and fobs, can be added as an option.

Notification when the session ends

The app tells the user charging has finished, so the charging point frees up sooner.

Admin panel

The administrator sees what's happening with the installation

The panel runs in the browser, in Polish and English. The same view covers a shelter at a hotel and a Box in an underground garage.

  • live status of every charging point: free, occupied, charging
  • session history: who, when and at which charging point
  • energy use broken down by charging point and by period
  • users and permissions, granted and revoked without contacting support
  • notifications for faults and user reports
  • data export for billing and reports
ChargeGo admin panel: live charging point status, energy use per charging point, session history and data export

The site administrator grants and revokes access with no ChargeGo support ticket and no site visit. There are no fees based on the number of users.

Energy metering

Usage measured separately at every charging point

In both lines you know who charged, when and how much, with no extra sub-meters and no guessing from the building's overall bill.

ChargeGo Box
Energy meter on every socket

Each of the eight charging points has its own energy meter. Data goes to the panel and to exports, and the 2 A (~460 W) per-charging point limit is enforced electronically.

ChargeGo Shelter
Current metering on every socket

Each 230 V socket has its own current metering, which feeds session history and the automatic shutdown on a short circuit or overload.

Note: metering is for reporting and enforcing limits.

Working offline

A dropped connection doesn't stop charging

The device keeps working and measuring locally. Sessions, usage and events are saved on site and sync with the platform once the connection is back.

Remote monitoring and control resume when the connection returns. Charging continues locally, and billing records are updated from the locally stored data.

What works when there's no internet
  • Charging at every charging point
  • Local usage metering and session logging
  • Current limits and safety cutoffs in the device
Billing

Three ways to bill for charging

The site picks a billing model and changes it in the panel at any time.

Free access for authorised users

Charging is a benefit for hotel guests, building residents or employees. The site covers the energy cost, and the platform controls who has access.

Access with usage tracking

Charging stays free, and every charging point has its usage attributed, so you know how much was drawn and by whom. A basis for internal cost allocation.

Pay per session or per kWh

A flat fee to start charging, or billing based on the kilowatt-hours drawn.

Software costs

What's included, what's a subscription

The rates below apply to the ChargeGo Box. Control and metering work with no subscription; the subscription adds remote access and billing.

FeatureIncludedCost
Mobile app for usersIncluded with the device, no end date
Admin panel on the local networkIncluded with the device, no end date
Granting and revoking accessIncluded with the device, no end date
Usage metering at every charging pointIncluded with the device, no end date
Cloud: remote access, reports, notifications€10/month
Usage billing+€7/month

Prices exclude VAT. Without the cloud subscription the device still charges, measures usage and lets users in; what the subscription adds is remote access. Scope and terms for the outdoor line are set in the quote for a specific installation.

FAQ

Questions about the platform and the app

Yes. The user app, admin panel, access granting and per-charging point usage metering are shared across both lines. The hardware differs (the Shelter is a freestanding structure with solar panels and a battery, the Box an indoor wall-mounted device) and the way you operate them is the same.

Add-ons

Options you can add

The station is complete without any of them: it charges, measures usage and recognises the user. The modules below are added when a site needs them, each at its own price.

€10/month
Cloud

Remote management from off-site: browser dashboard, session history, reports, fault notifications and remote updates. Without it the station keeps working locally.

+€7/month
Billing

Usage tracking per user and per tenant, billing reports, export to accounting.

+€240 excl. VAT
Hazard monitoring

An alarm control panel built into the station housing and a smoke detector in the charging room. Smoke triggers the alarm. Works locally, without internet.

+€240 excl. VAT
Cards and fobs

An extra credential alongside the app and PIN code. You deactivate a lost card in the panel.

custom quote
Door access control

Controls entry to the bike room: electric strike or magnetic lock, reader and door contact. Priced after we have surveyed the site.

Add-on prices are per station, not per property. Hazard monitoring is an alarm control panel with a smoke detector in the charging room. Full pricing and configurator.

Describe the location (outdoors, a garage, a bike room) and we'll show what the app and panel look like there, with a device quote. We reply within 1–2 business days.
