Does the station work in an underground garage with no signal?

Yes. Charging starts locally, from the QR code at the charging point or from the app, and energy metering works independently of an internet connection. A connection is needed for remote monitoring, reports and managing users from outside the building.

Can the unit be matched to the centre's visual identity?

ChargeGo Box is white as standard; a colour from the RAL palette is a €140 add-on. A Shelter has a powder-coated structure, and we agree the colour during pricing along with the charging point labelling. The app and the management panel are available in Polish and English, and shared across both lines.

Should customers pay for charging?

That choice belongs to the building operator, and both lines support any variant: free for everyone, free for loyalty-programme members and paid for everyone else, or paid per session or per kWh drawn. The panel shows sessions and kWh separately for each charging point, which is the basis for any fee you set.

Does this work in the evening and in winter?

A Box runs indoors, powered from the building's own circuit, so it works as long as that installation does. A Shelter runs 24/7 even with no grid connection: 1.74–3.48 kWp of solar panels charge an LFP battery of about 1.8–6 kWh, and the operating range is −20 °C to +45 °C, with battery heating controlled by the BMS.

Does cycling infrastructure support the building's BREEAM In-Use certification?

Yes, under the Tra category (Transport / Cyclist Facilities), which scores an equipped and secure spot for bikes, in the garage or by the entrance. A Shelter adds a renewable energy source on the roof. The BREEAM assessor confirms the final score for the specific protocol (In-Use v6).

The mounting location decides which line fits. Below are the four layouts that come up most often in shopping centres.

The panel and the app are the same across both lines, so you choose the billing model independently of whether the charging station is in the garage or by the entrance.

Free for customers

The simplest option to run: there are no payments to handle, and charging becomes part of what the building offers. With a Shelter the energy comes from the roof-mounted solar panels; with a Box it is drawn from the building's own circuit and visible down to the kWh in the panel.

Free for members, paid for everyone else

A customer enrolled in the loyalty programme charges at no cost, and everyone else pays per session or per kWh drawn. The administrator grants and revokes access in the panel, with no cards or badges involved.

Metering per charging point and per session is what makes charging fees possible. The building sets its own rate and billing method; the station supplies the data.
